Coaches decisions are theirs to make. Humility should open the conversation about how decisions are communicated or how they affect a child under their care. Courage is the ability to make amends and capitalize on teachable moments. 

    If we can walk and chew gum at the same time, adults can provide winning coaching and role model emotional maturity and self-regulation.
